The vision behind this project was to create a zoo of the future, far from the preconceived notions that associate zoos with animal prisons. To counter these prejudices, the zoo ensures that the animals cannot sense the presence of humans (except for caretakers and sponsors). The zoo is located in central Venezuela because the climate is tropical, with a distinct dry season and rainy season.
